Each of us has the capacity for growth. My work is to help you rediscover it—with empathy and understanding.

PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Mehbuba Khalid

I am a relational, humanistic, and integrative psychotherapist, grounded in both theory and lived experience.
Holding an MSc in Humanistic Psychotherapy, I work from an approach that values empathy, authenticity, and genuine human connection—seeing you as a whole person, not a diagnosis.
SPECIALıst TRAINING

Psychosexual, Couple’s Therapy & EMDR Therapy

In addition to my core training, I am a certified psychosexual and couple’s therapist, helping individuals and partners explore intimacy, connection, and communication.
I am also trained in EMDR, a structured and evidence-based method I use in working with trauma, addiction, and emotional recovery.
SUPERVISION & TRAINING

Supporting Professional Growth

Teaching and supervision are integral parts of my work. As a tutor on the BA Psychotherapy program at Peter Symonds College, I enjoy helping students grow into reflective, grounded practitioners.
I also offer clinical supervision that emphasises curiosity, presence, and the shared process of learning from our therapeutic work.
Systemic Psychotherapy

Understanding Patterns

I am trained in systemic psychotherapy, working with families, couples, and groups to explore the patterns and dynamics that shape their relationships. This approach looks at how experiences, roles, and communication styles influence the wider system, helping to build understanding, empathy, and healthier ways of relating.
